Capstone Project: LightPods Solar Light System
- Researched withing the field of light to find an area of opportunity
- Narrowed the scope of the project to focus on solar powered LED lighting
- Evaluated features and specifications of competition and consulted with experts
- Designed LightPods, a unique wireless solar powered home lighting system
Light and Shadow Project (January - May 2018)
- Created a luminaire out of a unique material, focused on the projection of light and shadow
- Experimented with light and shadow effects

by rotating LEDs inside a Circular-Cell Polycarbonate shade controlled by Arduino
- Performed a product costing analysis to determine the value of the lamp if mass-manufactured and sold, considering labor and development costs
Chess Project (October - November 2017
)
- Collaborated with partner to create a unique take on the game of chess with original rules, board, and pieces
- Developed the design using Solidworks and Illustrator
- Produced the board and pieces using laser-cut acrylic
- Selected to be displayed in the Kanbar Campus Center
